Washington, Rabi'II 30, 1437, Feb 9, 2016, SPA -- The United States of America has welcomed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's initiative to participate in the efforts for combating terrorism. The US Department of State pointed out that there are discussions regarding participation with ground troops in combating Daash in Syria. During the press briefing held yesterday, Spokesperson of the US Department of State John Kirby said: "we welcome this proposal made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to intensify its efforts through sending ground troops to Syria. This proposal puts more pressure on Daash and supports the international coalition's efforts to destroy the regime in Syria."
