Jakarta, Rabi'II 26, 1437, Feb 5, 2016, SPA -- Indonesia's economy grew 4.79 per cent last year, the slowest pace since 2009, dpa quoted official figures as showing Friday. The year ended on a period of higher growth however, with gross domestic product increasing by 5.04 per cent in the fourth quarter compared to a year earlier, faster than 4.73 per cent in the third quarter, the Central Bureau of Statistics said. The Indonesian economy grew 5.02 per cent in 2014. South-East Asia's largest economy has experienced a slowdown because of sluggish foreign demand for commodities. --SPA 10:22 LOCAL TIME 07:22 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
