Frankfurt, Safar 1, 1437, Nov 13, 2015, SPA -- German economic growth lost steam during the third quarter, falling to 0.3 per cent quarter-on-quarter, as the slowdown under way in the world's major emerging markets took its toll on Europe's biggest economy, dpa cited the Federal Statistical Office as saying Friday. The expansion in gross domestic product (GDP) compared with 0.4 per cent in the second quarter. Growth slowed as an increase in imports far exceeded that for exports as foreign demand for German goods fell, but rises in both consumer and government spending boosted GDP as did rising employment, the Statistical Office said. --SPA 10:36 LOCAL TIME 07:36 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
