Riyadh, Rabi'II 02, 1437, January 12, 2016, SPA -- Yemen's foreign minister Abdulmalik Al-Mikhlafi said today that achieving peace is a constant option for the legitimate authorities of his country and a source of keenness despite all complications set by the militias who usurped power in Sanaa. Following his meeting In Riyadh with the ambassador of the United Kingdom to Yemen Edmonton Brown, Al-Mikhlafi expressed hope that Britain would continue providing assistance to Yemen to help it overcome the current crisis, guarantee achieving constant peace in Yemen, and underscoring the importance of exerting more effort to implement the UN Security Council resolution No. 2216. For his part, the ambassador confirmed his country's position supportive to Yemen's legitimate government as well as the effort being exerted by the Yemeni government to restore security and stability in the country.
