Cairo, Rabi'I 13, 1437, Dec 24, 2015, SPA -- ِPresident Abdulfattah Al-Sisi of Egypt met here today with Yemen's Vice Premier and Foreign Minister Abdulmalik Al-Mikhlafi. During the meeting, Al-Sisi confirmed his country's keenness to lay down the pillars of security and stability in Yemen, noting the firm position of Egypt supportive for the safety and unity and integrity of Yemen's territories. He said Egypt supports all efforts aiming to overpass the current crisis in Yemen to reach the required convergence among the different political parties, scoring the importance of sticking to the principles of political solution on the bases of the GCC initiative, its executive mechanism, the UN Security Council's relevant resolutions and the overcomes of the current negotiations taking place under the auspices of the UN.
