Moroni, Rabi'II 01, 1437, January 11, 2016, SPA -- The Mufti of the Republic of the Comoro Islands Sheikh Taher bin Ahmed Al Jamal Al-Lail confirmed his organization's absolute support for his country's government decision to summon its ambassador from Iran in solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Mufti said, in a statement issued by the Comoro Ulema Council, that the council strongly condemns Iran's interference in the domestic affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the hostility on the Saudi embassy in Tehran and consulate in Mash-had as tampering the security and stability of any Arab member country is a breach of the security of the Comoro islands in its capacity as member of the Arab League. The statement said the Comoro islands denounce in the strongest words all kinds and forms of terrorism as it belongs to no nation, ethnic roots or religion. Paying tribute to the Comoro government decision of recalling its ambassador from Tehran, the Ulema council called on the government of the Comoros to reconsider its whole ties with Iran for the sake of preserving the unity of the Arab and Islamic nations and protection of Islamic sanctities. --SPA 14:36 LOCAL TIME 11:36 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
