Arab Interior Ministers' Council Denounces Houthi Terrorist Militia Attacks, Targeting Saudi Arabia

Tunis, May 03, 2021, SPA -- The Council of the Arab Ministers of Interior expressed deep disapproval and strong condemnation of the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist attacks, targeting a number of cities, inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement issued here today, the council's secretariat general said that as it denounces such terrorist acts, violating the international law and constituting war crimes, it called for holding Houthi militia accountable, as it exceeded all religious, humanitarian and ethical limits and values, during the blessed month of Ramadhan. It also drew the attention of the world to the ongoing Houthi rejection to peace calls and efforts exerted to reach a political solution for the crisis, in Yemen. The secretariat expressed full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and absolute support to the Kingdom in all measures it may take to thwart off terrorist attacks and to defend its security, protect its territories and citizens as well as residents, living on its soils.
