Washington, Rabi'I 06, 1437, December 17, 2015, SPA -- U.S. President Barack Obama spoke by telephone Wednesday with Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India to discuss the global climate agreement and bilateral cooperation on many fronts, the White House said. Obama thanked Modi “for his vision and leadership in achieving the historic climate agreement in Paris on December 12, noting that it continued their close and strong partnership on a range of issues that are important to both the United States and India,” the White House said in a statement. “The president and the prime minister each underscored the importance of implementing the agreement and working together in the future on climate change,” the White House wrote. --SPA 11:56 LOCAL TIME 08:56 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
