Prince Sultan bin Salman Meets President of Civil Aviation Authority

Riyadh, 28 Safar 1437 AH December 10, 2015, SPA -- Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage has met at the headquarters of the Authority in Riyadh recently with President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation Suleiman bin Abdullah Al-Hamdan. During the meeting, the Prince was briefed on presentation of the project "King Khalid International Airport's City" within the development of the Airport Project approved by the State based on what was prepared by the supervisory committee for the development of King Khalid International Airport, headed by Prince Sultan bin Salman, during the period from 2008 - 2012 , and worked on a project to make a quantum leap to the airport through a plan to raise its capacity to 30 million passengers a year. They also reviewed what has been achieved by the General Authority of Civil Aviation for the 2020, which includes the establishment, development and expansion of central, regional and domestic 27 airports, and raises airports' capacity in the Kingdom to more than 100 million passengers in 2020. -- SPA 11:02 LOCAL TIME 08:02 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
