TORONTO, Safar 26, 1437, December 08, 2015, SPA -- Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Tuesday his government would set up an inquiry on missing and murdered indigenous women, a measure opposed by his predecessor, Reuters reported. Trudeau said his government was committed to repairing the partnership with Canada's Aboriginals, who make up 5 percent of the population but have higher levels of poverty and addiction and are far more often victims of crime than other Canadians. Trudeau named two indigenous members of Parliament to his cabinet when he took office last month, including Justice Minister Jody Wilson-Raybould. -- SPA 22:12 LOCAL TIME 19:12 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
