Jeddah, Safar 9, 1437, Nov 21, 2015, SPA -- The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the raid by militants on the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bamako, Mali, and the subsequent taking of the occupants as hostages. It also commended the authorities for their swift and professional response in bringing the situation to an end. OIC Secretary General Iyad bin Ameen Madani described the violence unleashed on innocent people resulting in at least twenty seven death as an act of terror. He pointed out that the attack could only have been carried out by the enemies of peace whose designs are to clearly destabilize Mali and destroy the peace process following the signing on 20 June 2015 in Bamako of the Peace and Reconciliation Agreement between the Government and the armed movements in the north. --More 16:38 LOCAL TIME 13:38 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
