Geneva, Dhu-AlHijjah 16, 1436, September 30, 2015, SPA -- Group of Arab States at the United Nations have praised the cooperation of the Sudanese government with international human rights mechanisms, its recent welcome, over the past few months, of the independent expert and the Special Rapporteur on anti-violence against women. This came in a speech given by Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva Faisal yen Hassan Trad on behalf of the Group of Arab States. Kingdom's Permanent Representative expressed the welcome of the Arab countries for the efforts of the Sudanese government to establish a national dialogue, and the declaration of a ceasefire for two months, to create a positive atmosphere and favorable to dialogue, as well as granting immunity and the declaration of a general amnesty for all participants in the dialogue within the Sudan. -- SPA 21:38 LOCAL TIME 18:38 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
