Council of Senior Scholars: Islamic Law Ensures Rights, Cements Justice Principles

Riyadh, Jumada I 26, 1436, Mar 17, 2015, SPA -- The Council of Senior Scholars (CSS) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stressed that the Kingdom’s approach derived from Islamic law has ensured the rights and laid down the principles of justice in the legislation, judiciary and freedoms. The Council's Secretary General Sheikh Dr. Fahad bin Saad Al-Majed said that the Kingdom, the country of the Two Holy Mosques, the cradle of the message and spirit of Islam is proud to apply Islamic law, which has maintained human rights, preserved their dignity, life and own properties, and laid the foundations of justice in its independent jurisdiction, making the Kingdom a beacon in the world frequented by millions of craftsmen, professions and investors as well as pilgrims and Umrah performers. He added: Thanks to Allah Almighty, then the determination of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince that the assault on the Kingdom's Islamic Law and approach won't increase the Kingdom but determination and strength in adhering to this right religion that came as a mercy to the world in its call for acquaintance among humans and the renunciation of violence and call for peace for the common good of humanity. --SPA 12:15 LOCAL TIME 09:15 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
