Then, President of Nazah delivered a speech in which he pointed out that fighting corruption and safeguarding integrity, are enjoying international community's interest, stressing that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has established since its inception, courts concerned with control and accountability, and took the initiative to respond to the benefits of UN Convention for 2003. He said that the Kingdom also adopted in 2007, a comprehensive strategy for the fight against corruption and protection of integrity and established in 2011, specialized independent body in fighting corruption. Dr. Al-Muhaisen further said that convening of this international conference, is part of the Kingdom's contribution to international efforts to combat corruption, the exchange of experiences and visions of the various communities, in addition to the definition of its efforts over the decades to protect the integrity and anti-corruption. After that, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz delivered a speech during which he welcomed the participants in the conference, stressing the aspiration of everyone to take advantage of agencies concerned with transparency, accountability and control, which are participating in the conference through the exchange of useful experiences and expertise in addition to what will be put forward of ideas and proposals for the benefit of all the participating bodies and organizations. He said: "Kingdom's approach since its inception is to be committed to the Holy Quran and the Prophet's Sunnah as the source of its Constitution and regulations and laws."
