Prince Abdulaziz highlighted the importance of clarity in the plans and policies and sharing of responsibilities in addition to the seriousness and continuity in the action to eliminate this phenomenon, stressing that the inaction or hesitation will not help in uprooting this phenomenon from the root. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed that earnest movement is collective responsible to fight extremist ideology and cut off funding to terrorists. "In this regard, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued many internal procedures and regulations and penalties in order to respond effectively to counter and eliminate this phenomenon, even elimination of intellectual and physical sources. The first International Conference on Combating Terrorism is hosted by the Kingdom in February, 2005. In this conference, the Kingdom called to establishment of the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Center in order to be an executive tool for the United Nations strategy to combat terrorism. In September, 2011, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed a founding convention of the center's establishment under umbrella of the United Nations. The Kingdom also supported and established King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue in Vienna with participation of the Kingdom of Spain and the Republic of Austria," Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah said.
