Washington, Jumada I 1, 1436, Feb 20, 2015, SPA -- Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, who is also head of the Kingdom's delegation to the White House Summit for Countering Violent Extremism, stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was and is still at the forefront of the countries working to eradication of any thought or action leading to terrorism. In his speech at the US State Department yesterday, Prince Abdulaziz said that today's meeting is to discuss the phenomenon spreading in the body of the world and to declare to the world on our determination to move forward in the fight against all forms and manifestations of this phenomenon, whatever its source. "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was and is still at the forefront of the countries working to eradication of any thought or action leading to terrorism. It is a matter of responsibility that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is joining any serious international effort seeking to mobilize and concerted international action in the fight against this phenomenon and its sources in addition to fight those who stand behind them without distinction between race, color, religion or doctrine," the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs said. "The late Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud called upon the leaders and scholars of Islamic nation to perform their duty and stand firmly and quickly in the face of extremism, hatred and terrorism," he added, pointing out that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is following the same approach in the face of extremism, hatred and terrorism.
