Association of Swiss Translators Head Hails Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques International Translation Prize

Riyadh, Rabi'I 20, 1436, Jan 11, 2015, SPA -- Professor Hannah Laura Lee Lanka, Honorary President of the International Permanent Conference for University Institutes to prepare translators and interpreters and President of the Association of Swiss Translators has expressed her happiness to win Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Award for Translation in its 7th session in recognition of her contributions to the field of training translators and promoting cooperation among universities and institutes in the area of translation studies. In a statement on the occasion of the award handing-over ceremony which will be held in Geneva, Switzerland, she said, "I felt honored when I received news of winning this prestigious award that can make the whole world knows the importance of the Arabic language as a universal language emanating from the importance of translation with its goals and objectives to enhance communication among Arabic native tongues and other languages''.
