LA HABANA, Safar 18, 1436, Dec 10, 2014, SPA -- Peace talks between Colombian rebels and government officials have resumed, AP reported. The talks in Havana were suspended for several weeks after members of Colombia's main rebel group captured an army general and two others. Colombia's head of delegation at the talks Humberto de la Calle says his government made no concessions to the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia to restart talks in the Cuban capital on Wednesday. President Juan Manuel Santos had suspended the talks after the rebel group captured Gen. Ruben Dario Alzate and two others in a conflictive part of western Colombia on Nov. 16. Alzate was the first general to be taken by the rebel group in a half-century of fighting. The rebels later freed the trio. -- SPA 21:55 LOCAL TIME 18:55 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
