Riyadh, Safar 15, 1436, Dec 7, 2014, SPA -- Major General Dr. Mansour Al-Turki, the security spokesman of the Ministry of Interior, described the social outlets which dare to attack the government and the country's political leaders and religious prominent figures as new terror tools, probably more dangerous than traditional terrorist groups, he said. In a press conference to cast light on the recent arrest of 135 terror suspects, Al-Turki said the cooperation of citizens and expatriates with the security authorities has led to positive results in this respect. He praised the role of Prince Mohammed bin Naif Center for Advice-giving which made great strides in rectifying the thinking of so many youths who have been lured by deviant groups against their religion and nation, citing the confessions of some of the arrested. He denied that factors other than belief in deviant thought have pushed the youths to embrace the terror approach. Neither financial nor social or psychiatric factors have affected any of them, Al-Turki added. --SPA 00:14 LOCAL TIME 21:14 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
