Manama, Safar 04, 1436, November 26, 2014, SPA -- The General Assembly of the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA) concluded its 42nd conference in Manama yesterday, which was chaired by Mr. Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein, the President of Saudi Press Agency (SPA), President of Federation of Arab News Agencies, and President of News Agencies World Council. FANA issued a press statement on the two-day conference which adopted a number of decisions on its future activities, courses, seminars, and cooperation with other groups and news agencies. The statement pointed out that it was agreed to hold a meeting of Follow-up Committee for Dialogue between Arab and World News Agencies to discuss several issues related to the news, as well as continuing holding a meeting between representatives of European and world news agencies and Arab News Agencies to study news exchange topics.
