Bangkok, Muharram 09, 1436, November 02, 2014, SPA -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.1 occurred in the South Pacific on Sunday, the US Geological Survey reported, according to dpa. The quake struck some 140 kilometres north-east of Fiji's Ndoi Island, roughly 300 kilometres north-west of Tonga. It registered at a depth of 434 kilometres. No tsunami alert was issued and there were no immediate reports of injuries or damage, news outlets reported.
