Berlin, Rabi'I 07, 1439, November 25, 2017, SPA -- A magnitude-5.7 earthquake struck in the South Pacific Ocean Sunday, off the coast of New Caledonia, the US Geological Survey said, according to dpa. The epicentre was located about 200 kilometres north-north-east of Hunter Island, at a depth of about around 10 kilometres. It struck at 4:40 am (1730 GMT Saturday). The French territory of New Caledonia was the scene of another earthquake on Monday, which triggered a tsunami wave warning.
