The minister's last leg of his inspection tour was the ministry's tower where he saw the TV and radio studios and met with the personnel and technical staff who are in charge of transmitting the ascending of pilgrims to Arafat Holy Mount live to viewers all over the world. Following the tour, Dr. Khoja paid tribute to SPA, TV and Audiovisual General Commission for their live transmission of this great Islamic event on this great day of Friday to the world, including the performance of pilgrims seeking forgiveness and mercy from Allah Almighty on one hand and the performance of the Saudi government making tremendous facilities available for pilgrims to easily perform Hajj rituals on the other. Using 13 TV transmission vehicles, 17 satellite vehicles and 107 fixed and movable cameras, the ministry's personnel and technicians are actively transmitting this picture of this annual great gathering to the world, the minister said, giving example of the just-concluded speech and prayers at Namera mosque in Arafat. --More 15:30 LOCAL TIME 12:30 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
