Then, the Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi inaugurated SPA's new website and logo and watched, together with the attendees, two presentations on the website and SPA's new headquarters building. In the end, the Minister honored Saud Al-Harbi and Ali Al-Awadh, two colleague photographers with SPA, for having been awarded a local and Arab prizes in photographing respectively. Dr. Altoraifi also gave away two memorial shields to each of Dr. Badran bin Abdulrahman Al-Omer, Rector of King Saud University, received on his behalf by Dr. Yousef bin Abdou Assiri, King Saud University Undersecretary for Development and Quality and Clinical Pharmacy professor; and Dr. Fowzan bin Abdulrahman Al-Fowzan, Acting Rector of Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University in recognition of the two universities' effective cooperation with SPA in different fields. In addition to this, several certificates and citations were offered to academicians who have extended fruitful efforts to SPA on a number of previous national events. Then a photo-session to mark the event was held. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Prince Naif bin Thinayan bin Mohammed; Dr. Azzam bin Mohammed Al-Dakheel, Consultant at the Royal Court; Dhia Al-Deen Saeed Bamakhrama, Dean of Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Kingdom, who is also the ambassador of Djibouti to the Kingdom; and senior officials of the ministry, editors-in-chief of paper and electronic newspapers and a number of reporters and correspondents of audio-visual and readable media. --SPA 21:20 LOCAL TIME 18:20 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
