Riyadh, Jumada I 11, 1438, February 08, 2017, SPA -- Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein, President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), received at his office in Riyadh today Chairman of the Social Responsibility Committee of Riyadh Chamber Fahd Al-Hammadi and members of the committee. At the outset of the meeting, Al-Hussein welcomed the committee's chairman and members, expressing appreciation of the efforts being exerted by the committee to enhance the role of the private sector in social development. Also, he briefed the committee's delegation on the activities of SPA in highlighting the Kingdom's current projects and development at all levels and in all fields through disseminating the Kingdom's mission to the world in several popular languages of the world. He confirmed the keenness of SPA to cope with the new media and its accelerating tools and developments in a way that enhances, in the first place, its status as a key producer of news and reports, noting that his organization has promising plans and programs to promote its news sector and its media performance in general.
