International Islamic Relief Organization Contributes to Fighting Blindness Disease in Nine Countries

Jeddah, Rabi'II 25, 1437, Feb 4, 2016, SPA -- The International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO) of Muslim World League (MWL) has conducted within its efforts to contribute to the fight against blindness disease about 500 surgeries to treat cataract and 400 medical examinations, in addition to the distribution of 1000 eyeglasses and sunglasses for people with myopia cases in nine countries in Asia and Africa. IIRO Secretary General, Ihsan bin Saleh Tayeb, said that the Organization is to implement this vital program during next April in collaboration with the Charitable Al-Basar Foundation, within its plans prepared in the field of health services for 2016.
