Washington, Rabi'II 15, 1437, Jan 25, 2016, SPA -- The U.S.-led coalition battling Daesh conducted 19 airstrikes against the militant group in Iraq and Syria Sunday, the Combined Joint Task Force said Monday. The task force said in a statement that 16 strikes in Iraq were concentrated near Ramadi and Mosul where they hit five of the militants’ tactical units and destroyed a weapons cache, a communications facility, four fighting positions, and three buildings, among other targets.
