Kiev, Safar 03, 1437, November 15, 2015, SPA -- At least five Ukrainian soldiers were killed and another four wounded after an attack by pro-Russian separatists with mortar and gunfire, violating a fragile ceasefire in war torn Eastern Ukraine on the eve of municipal elections, a military spokesman said in Kiev, according to dpa. Pro-Russian rebels opened fire with 82-millimetre mortar rounds in the vicinity of Marjinka outside of Donetsk, and committed other "provocations" near Luhansk, Ukraine army spokesman Andrey Lyssenko said. Observers from The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) had reported increased tensions in the restive region near Donbass. According to the ceasefire terms, both sides are to have pulled military equipment 15 kilometres back from the front lines. --SPA 12:08 LOCAL TIME 09:08 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
