Saudi Arabia Designates a Number of Supporters of Houthi Terrorist Militia, Associated Entities

Riyadh, June 15, 2022, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by The Presidency of State Security, on Tueseday designated (8) individuals and (11) entities, for their association with activities supporting the "Houthi" terrorist militia, backed by Iran. This designation comes in accordance with the law of combating terrorist crimes and its financing, issued by royal decree no (M/21) dated 12/2/1439h, corresponding to November 1st, 2017, and in line with security council resolution no 1373 (2001) and relevant resolutions, which targets those who provide support to terrorists or terrorism acts. It is supplementary to the designation of the "Houthi" militia as a terrorist organization in the statement issued by the Saudi Ministry of Interior on 6/5/1435h, corresponding to March 7th, 2014. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is determined and will continue to work to stop the influence of the "Houthi" terrorist militia. The Kingdom will target key individuals and entities who provide financial support that cause violence, endanger Yemen and its interests, as well as the brotherly Yemeni people. The consequences of the "Houthi" terrorist militia actions destabilizes the region, threaten international maritime navigation and prolongs humanitarian suffering. In accordance with the law on combating terrorist crimes and its financing, and the executive mechanisms of relevant security council resolutions, and in line with security council resolution no 1373 (2001); all assets belonging to the (19) designated individuals and entities listed below must be frozen. It is also prohibited to conduct any transactions, whether directly or indirectly, with or for the benefit of those names, through financial institutions, non-financial professions and businesses, and all legal and natural persons. The names of designated individuals and entities are as follow: Individuals: 1-Salih bin Mohammad bin Hamad bin Shaji': Yemeni national, affiliated and cooperated with "al-Qaeda" terrorist organization, and provides financial support, weapons and ammunition for the "Houthi" terrorist militia. 2-Nabil bin Abdullah bin Ali Alwazeer: Yemeni national and member of the board of directors of Alzahraa establishment for trade and agencies, which works to facilitate the smuggling of money and oil for the "Houthi" terrorist militia. 3-Ismail bin Ibrahim Alwazeer: Yemeni national, manages several companies that facilitate the smuggling of money and oil for the "Houthi" terrorist militia. 4-Qusai bin Ibrahim Alwazeer: Yemeni national, associated with the Iranian revolutionary guard corps. He is the founder of the "Fuel Oil" company for importing oil derivatives, which works to facilitate Iranian oil smuggling for the "Houthi" terrorist militia. 5-Ali bin Nasser Qarshah: (Previously listed on the Kingdom's wanted list announced on (16/2/1439H). Yemeni national, cooperates directly with "al-Qaeda" terrorist organization, works on providing weapons and equipment for the "Houthi" terrorist militia and facilitates cooperation between the Iranian revolutionary guard corps and the "Houthi" terrorist militia. He established the "Black Gold" company, and other oil companies, which works on smuggling and buying Iranian oil. 6-Zaid bin Ali bin Yahya Alsharafi: Yemeni national, cooperates directly with "al-Qaeda" terrorist organization. He owns the "Silm Road" company for trading and importing, as well as the "Oil Primer" company. He manages the "Azal" company, and he is a member of the board of directors of "Sam Oil" company for trading and oil services Ltd. These companies facilitate the smuggling of Iranian oil for the "Houthi" terrorist militia. 7-Abdullah bin Abkar Abdulbari: Yemeni national, founder of the "Abkar Oil Services" company, and cooperates with the "Houthi" terrorist militia in the field of importing Iranian oil. 8-Saddam bin Ahmad bin Mohammad Alfaqih: Yemeni national, cooperates directly with "al-Qaeda" terrorist organization. He is the founder of "Sam Oil" company for trading and oil services Ltd, and he is a member of the board of directors of "Alfaqih International" company for trade, industry and oil services Ltd. The two companies are facilitating the smuggling of Iranian oil for the "Houthi" terrorist militia. Entities: 1-Sam Oil Company for Trading and Oil Services LTD: The company is located in the Republic of Yemen. It works on importing Iranian oil and providing financial facilities for the "Houthi" terrorist militia. 2-Alzahraa Establishment for Trade and Agencies: The establishment is located in the Republic of Yemen. It works on importing Iranian oil and providing financial facilities for the "Houthi" terrorist militia. 3-Yemen Towers Company and Black Gold Company: Both companies are located in the Republic of Yemen. They provide financial facilities for the "Houthi" terrorist militia. 4-Fuel Oil Company for Importing Oil Derivatives: The company is located in the Republic of Yemen. It works on importing Iranian oil and providing financial facilities for the "Houthi" terrorist militia. 5-Silm Road Company for Trading and Importing: The company is located in the Republic of Yemen. It works on importing Iranian oil and providing financial facilities for the terrorist "Houthi" militia. 6-Abkar Oil Services Company: The company is located in the Republic of Yemen. It works on importing Iranian oil and providing financial facilities for the "Houthi" terrorist militia. 7-Alfaqih International Company for Trade, Industry and Oil Services LTD: The company is located in the Republic of Yemen. It works on importing Iranian oil and providing financial facilities for the "Houthi" terrorist militia. 8-Saba International Tobacco Company LTD: The company is located in the Republic of Yemen. It provides financial facilities for the "Houthi" terrorist militia. 9-Oil Primer Company: The company is located in the Republic of Yemen. It works on importing Iranian oil and providing financial facilities for the "Houthi" terrorist militia. 10-Yemen Abot Trading Company LTD: The company is located in the Republic of Yemen. It works on importing Iranian oil and providing financial facilities for the "Houthi" terrorist militia. 11-Sahari for Exchange and Money Transfer Company: The company is located in the Republic of Yemen.
