Jeddah, Oct 10, 2021, SPA -- Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, on Saturday crowned the German SC Magdeburg handball team with the trophy of the title of the 14th edition of the World Club Handball Championship “Super Globe 2021”, held from 5 to 9 October 2021 at Jeddah, with the participation of 10 Clubs representing the continents of the world. SC Magdeburg managed to clinch the title after winning 33-28 over the Spanish powerhouse, FC Barcelona in the trophy match that brought them together at KASC indoor sports complex in Jeddah. As one of the initiatives of the Quality of Life Program, IHF Men's Super-Globe 2021 was organized by the Ministry of Sports in cooperation with the Saudi Handball Federation. The trophy match was held in the presence of Prince Fahd bin Jalawi, Vice President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee; President of the International Handball Federation Dr. Hassan Mustafa and President of the Saudi Handball Federation Fadel Al-Nimr.
