Makkah, July 21, 2021, SPA -- Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and Chairman of Supreme Hajj Committee, has inaugurated the Security City of the Special Forces for Hajj and Umrah Security in Al-Jumum Governorate in Makkah region, within the second phase of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ project to develop security headquarters. The city includes multiple educational fields and facilities equipped with the latest smart systems, security equipment and technical means in line with the requirements of all levels of training on various security tasks of the Special Forces for the security of Hajj and Umrah during Hajj and Umrah seasons. The Prince toured the city and viewed samples of its buildings and facilities. The Director of Public Security, General Khalid bin Qarar Al-Harbi, said in a speech during the inauguration that the city will contribute to the continuous development of skills and capabilities of the security forces enabling them to carry out their tasks to serve pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors as per the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
