Riyadh, Sep. 29, 2021, SPA -- Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf received here today the Governor of the General Authority for Foreign Trade of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdulrahman Al-Harbi. During the meeting, Dr. Al-Hajraf congratulated Al-Harbi on being appointed as General Coordinator of Negotiations of the General Secretariat of the GCC, wishing him success in advancing the leadership of the GCC trade negotiations file in a manner that meets the aspirations of their Majesties and Highnesses the leaders of the GCC countries and peoples. Furthermore, they discussed the necessity of maximizing the benefit from the GCC achievements reached in the past four decades during the blessed march of the GCC in accordance with the provisions of the economic agreement, in light of the ability of the GCC countries to play a major role as an economic engine through strategic partnerships and free trade negotiations with a number of countries, regional blocs, and other economic and international groups, through development plans, visions and programs of the GCC countries.
