Riyadh, September 22, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Bilad and Al-Yaum newspapers reported in their editorials that on Thursday, September 23, 2021, this blessed land, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the land of the Two Holy Mosques, and the pioneering and influential leader at the regional and international levels, celebrates the 91st anniversary of the establishment of this dear country, whose pillars were laid by the late founder King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman and continued to grow and empower until this prosperous era, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. The newspapers further added that this celebration accompanies a march full of giving and achievements that resulted in the Kingdom’s assumption of its proper position among the world countries with its stable and balanced policy, extending help and assistance to the needy and afflicted everywhere without discrimination and continuing excellence at all levels for the good of all mankind. On the occasion of the 91st National Day, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, during the Cabinet’s session that was held yesterday, said that he looks forward to more accomplishments to achieve further progress and prosperity for this dear country, whose pillars were laid by the late founder King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman and continued to grow and empower under the leadership of his sons after him, to be the land of progress, beacon of civilization and home of justice, and a spot that spreads and promotes peace in the whole world. In another context, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that the terrorist Houthi militia committed on Saturday a heinous crime against nine Yemenis, including a minor, in a scandalous mock trial that reveals the farthest extent to which the Iran-backed Houthi militia can go in order to achieve its sectarian project, being managed by the Iranian regime to dominate Yemen. The newspaper added that the brutal execution of Yemenis, after years of enforced disappearance and torture, in addition to subjected them to mock trial and deprived of basic rights, reveals values of the terrorist Houthi militia.
