Amman, Aug 27, 2020, SPA -- Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) today called on Turkey to respect the rights of its neighbors and the historical relations linking it with the Arab world as well as stop its interference in the Syrian affairs. The Union urged the international community and the United Nations to intervene to put an end to these Turkish attacks. It also condemned, in a statement, all practices and attacks carried out by Turkey on Syrian territory as a violation of international legitimacy, calling on Arab councils and parliaments to issue stances expressing rejection of the Turkish aggression.
