Afghanistan emphasized that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's role is crucial in combating terrorism and extremism and protecting human rights. In a statement, the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed legal measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prosecute the perpetrators of the killing of Jamal Khashoggi, based on Saudi Arabia's national laws and international obligations.
