Aden, Dec 15, 2020, SPA – Abdulraqeeb Fath, Minister of Local Administration, who is also Chairman of the Higher Relief Committee in Yemen, called on the UN office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen to hold the Iran-backed Houthi militia fully accountable on all deliberate crimes against civilians in a number of Yemeni Governorates. In a press statement carried by state-run Yemeni news agency SABA, the minister expressed his denunciation of repeated avoidance by the Coordination Office of Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen to equivocally denounce the Houthis on all crimes they committed in Maareb, Al-Joaf, Al-Hodeidah, Taiz, and Hijjah governorates, citing that the last of which was the bombarding of a sports club in Taiz in which a famous sports star and his son were killed and two other children injured. Fath pointed out that the Coordination Office is directly responsible of the continuing cover-up on the culprits, calling on the UN in office to name the attackers and rescind its recent statement on the humanitarian crisis in Yemen. --SPA 20:37 LOCAL TIME 17:37 GMT 0022 www.spa.gov.sa/w1468315
