Riyadh, Mar. 16, 2021, SPA -- The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) reaffirmed here today that it has received no report of a case of blood clots or thrombosis from those inoculated, due to using Coronavirus vaccines, in Saudi Arabia, where the toll of given doses of the vaccines in the Kingdom has reached over 2.3 million doses until now. SFDA pointed out that it is continuously following up the safety of COVID-19 in the Kingdom, through checking and studying the side-effects cases, scientific proofs and relevant data, locally as well as internationally, in coordination with the regulatory and healthy bodies. It also follows up the safety of the vaccines with the manufacturing companies, the ministry of health and international regulatory departments, through its membership of the International Coalition of Medicines Regulatory Authorities (ICMRA), consisting of over 30 bodies, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) that periodically meets to exchange data and information over the vaccines as well as their side-effects. --SPA 21:47 LOCAL TIME 18:47 GMT 0037 www.spa.gov.sa/w1525927
