Jeddah, Dec 13, 2019, SPA -- Activities of the 4th 3-day International Conference on Crowd Medicine, hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the gracious patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, concluded here today. The conference resulted in a number of recommendations aimed at advancing the work process in crowd management and health, and emphasizing the development of international health care standards in crowd medicine and health, in addition to risk assessment tools in this area, to enable optimal planning and risk management. The recommendations also included the need to strengthen global health security in the face of increasing number of human populations, including international events, and implement early warning systems in health and to respond to them in crowd medicine and health. The conference recommended also encouraging and supporting research in the field of crowd health and management, to strengthen the base of standards and policy guides, in addition to establishing channels for disseminating research results in the region, including the creation of a scientific journal on crowd health and public health. --SPA 21:20 LOCAL TIME 18:20 GMT 0017 www.spa.gov.sa/w1228164
