Lebanese-Saudi Business Council Holds 1st Meeting, in Beirut

Beirut, Muharram 10, 1439, Sep 30, 2017, SPA -- The Lebanese-Saudi Business Council held its first meeting here today, under the chairmanship of Rauf AbuZaki to discuss the Council's plan of action and present steps required to activate it, in the presence of the Chargé d'Affaires of the Saudi Embassy in Lebanon Marwan Saleh. The head of the Federation of Lebanese Chambers Mohammed Choucair said that the launch of the work of the council came in light of the launch of the development plan in the Kingdom, which provides great investment opportunities, at a time when Lebanon is stable and the government intends to take steps to encourage investment. For his part, the representative of the Chargé d'Affaires of the Saudi Embassy in Lebanon stressed the readiness of the Embassy to provide all required facilities for activating Business Services Center which was established, at the Embassy. He pointed to the importance of developing trade exchange between the two countries, calling on the council to form a delegation to participate, in the Global Forum for Investment, which will be hosted by the Kingdom on 24 October. -- SPA 21:41 LOCAL TIME 18:41 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w501335
