Washington, Sha'ban 9, 1438, May 5, 2017, SPA -- Yemeni Ambassador to US Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak reiterated here today, Yemeni legitimate and internationally recognized government on fostering peace, in the country, pointing out that the war was a firm imposed on it, hence it had no other option, but to respond. Addressing a gathering made by the Arab-US Relations' National Council, in collaboration with the Gulf Research Center, he, categorically refuted news items circulated by some media that the Houthis have been excluded from the process of the National Dialogue, stressing that they waged their coup d'état, following endorsing the outputs of the dialogue, in order to carry out with their putsch-wise machinations and schemes to topple the legitimate government. On liberating Hodeidah, the main seaport, he stated that the drive was to mitigate humanitarian suffering, hence the government demanded UN supervision on the harbor of Hodeidah, as an alternative to avoid liberating it, by the military, however, if that proposal is proven to be impossible to realize, then the government is obliged to liberate it and any other part on the Yemeni soil, from the hegemony of the putsch-like forces. -- SPA 17:21 LOCAL TIME 14:21 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w393771
