Saudi Ambassador to Britain Affirms Leadership's Keenness on Citizens' Return to Homeland

London, March 27, 2020, SPA -- Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Saudi ambassador to the United Kingdom, affirmed the keenness, greetings and follow-up of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, for the Saudi citizens abroad, stressing that the leadership is keen on the safety and comfort of the citizens. This came in a speech delivered by Ambassador Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan today to the Saudi citizens in Britain. Prince Khalid said that the spread of the Coronavirus in the world is an exceptional incident and an unprecedented emergency circumstance. He added that he knows the urgent desire of everyone to return to their families and homeland, but everyone must act responsibly to safeguard their health and the Saudi society's health. Prince Khalid affirmed a difficulty that about 30,000 Saudi citizens in Britain return to the Kingdom in a same time because it is not safe for them or for their country, calling upon everyone to wait until the appropriate time for their return to the homeland. The Saudi ambassador to the UK promised to prepare a plan of return as soon as possible in accordance with the wise leadership's plan to stop the spread of the disease. Prince Khalid called upon all Saudi citizens in Britain to abide by the official statements issued by the accredited entities, urging all to adhere to the UK laws and instructions for their health and safety.
