Pakistan Calls for Helping Muslims, in Myanmar

Islamabad, Rabi'II 21, 1438, Jan 19, 2017, SPA -- Pakistan calls on Islamic countries to exert the best of effective endeavors to provide Muslim minority of Rohingya, in Myanmar, with utmost help, at the backdrop of the racial violence it faced, there. Addressing an extraordinary session of the ministers of foreign affairs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states, held in Malaysia, today, Sartaj Aziz, Advisor to the Pakistani Prime Minister for Foreign Affairs said, adding that Islamic countries must discuss reasons and problems facing Rohingya Muslims, in Rakhine Region, Myanmar, as they constitute a part and parcel of the Muslim world, and expressing hope that Myanmar government will take further measurements to guarantee the basic rights of the Muslim Rohingya and solving this issue, peacefully.
