Riyadh, Shawwal 08, 1437, July 13, 2016, SPA -- A delegation of the Saudi Shura Council, led by Dr. Abdullah bin Homood Al-Harbi, Chairman of the Saudi Bosnian Friendship Committee, an affiliate of the Shoura Council, took part in the Bosnian people's commemorating ceremonies of Srebrenica massacre anniversary in Bosnia where about 8,000 Muslim Bosnians lost their lives and tens of thousands of civilians displaced, once considered among the most bloodiest human-made disasters in post-second-world war Europe. Eng. Abdullah Al-Dharrab, member of Majlis Ashura, also took part of the tour. On the sidelines of the event, the Shoura Council's delegation met with the Speaker of the Peoples Council, an affiliate of the Bosnia and Herzegovina parliament, Safet Softetich, and member of the parliament Shamsuddin Mohaimeedovich. During the meeting, Al-Harbi confirmed the stance of the Kingdom, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud by the side of the Bosnian people and its solidarity with them, including the provision of assistance to the victims of the Serbian genocide against the Bosnian Muslims, recalling the Kingdom's position in the last quarter of last century in defense of the friendly country against the Serbian aggression. They conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, and Minister of Interior; Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; to the Bosnian people, wishing them steady progress and prosperity. They confirmed that prosperous relations are being enjoyed between the Kingdom and Bosnia and Herzegovina, based on mutual respect of domestic affairs, national integrity and territorial unity, co-existence of the country's three communities, wishing the Bosnia and Herzegovina progress in its complete European Union membership bid.
