On the Malaysian side, Malaysia's Prime Minister Mohammad Najib Razak and King Al-Mu'tasim Bi'llah Muhib Eldine Mu'azem Shah of Malaysia have visited the Kingdom. As an extension of military cooperation between the two countries, Malaysia has participated in coalition's forces to restore legitimacy in Yemen from militias of Al-Houthi and their supporters, in the maneuvers of "North Thunder" and in the Islamic military alliance against terrorism, in addition to its condemnation of targeting the holy Makkah by Al-Houthi militias' missile. Concerning the cultural and educational cooperation between the two countries, it has witnessed reciprocal visits where women's delegation from Malaysia's University of Technology has paid a visit to the female section of Taibah University in Madinah. The Kingdom and Malaysia have signed several agreements and memoranda of understanding in military, educational and tourism fields including: - A memorandum of understanding for cooperation in scientific, technical and industrial area for the purposes of national defense. - An agreement between Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University represented by its investment fund and own resources and the Multimedia University (MMU) of Malaysia for partnership between the two universities to establish a technical center specializing in multimedia research inside MMU campus. - An agreement between the Islamic University of Madinah and University of Science, Malaysia (USM) to consolidate the scientific and educational links between the two universities. - A cooperation agreement between Taibah University and the University of Technology, Malaysia. - A memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of tourism between the two countries. --SPA 14:15 LOCAL TIME 11:15 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w340581
