Makkah, Dhu-AlQa'dah 20, 1437, Aug 23, 2016, SPA -- Haji Mohammad Bamachin has arrived here on yesterday evening, coming from the People's Republic of China, on a bicycle, following a trip of four months, defying all odds and undergoing mountainous off-roads, in obedience of the command of Allah to perform the Hajj of this season, recalling the past of the Islamic nation hundreds years ago, where those who were wishing to perform Hajj took off on their saddlebags, from their homes before the pilgrimage season, several months to go. Haji Bamachin explained that he has managed to pass 8150 km, crossing several countries until he, eventually, entered the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia via King Fahd Causeway, which links Bahrain to the Kingdom, where he was received, upon arrival, by a number of athletes and those interested in cities that he has passed through on his way to the Kingdom and members of the Chinese embassy, praising the stance of the people of Saudi Arabia for their support, during the trip and praying to God to preserve the land of the Two Holy Mosques and those in charge of serving the pilgrims. -- SPA 19:36 LOCAL TIME 16:36 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
