Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stresses its firm stance and rejection of all forms of human trafficking

United Nations, Rabi'I 22, 1438, December 21, 2016, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has stressed its firm rejection of all forms of human trafficking under any pretext, and its working to intensify internal efforts to completely eliminate this crime through its cooperation with the international community and the ratification of international conventions and treaties in this regard . This came in Kingdom s' speech in the open debate in United Nations on Tuesday about "Human trafficking in conflict situations'' delivered by Kingdom's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations Adviser Saad bin Abdullah Al-Saad. Al-Saad said: "Our meeting today is to discuss a crime which has become one of condemned activities all over the world and forms a serious violation affecting almost all countries, pointing out that due to a large number of conflicts in many regions, such a crime has been active in recent times. The countries of the world and specialized international organizations have sought to develop their tools, issue deterrent laws against this crime and put an end to its the social, economic and psychological effects".
