Cairo, Rajab 01, 1437, April 08, 2016, SPA -- Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at his residence here today, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb. During the audience, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques underscored the importance of Al-Azhar s role in spreading Islamic sciences and serving the Islamic nation. For his part, the Imam of Al-Azhar welcomed, in his own name and on and on behalf of Al-Azhar scholars and students, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques historic visit to Egypt and thanked the King for the Kingdom s support and patronage of Al-Azhar.
