In a reply to a question regarding the GCC's contribution to support Iraq economically, the US Secretary of Defense said that "Now, we might say that the GCC states are contributing to this matter. We are keen to do more. We have to exert more efforts to defeat Daesh terrorist group. Regarding economic stability, there are a number of mechanisms being used by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). These mechanisms are available for the United States of America." He stressed that the Iraqi government should cooperate in this part and support progress made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in this regard. For his part, Al-Zayani said: "We urge the Iraqi government to be committed to live up to all agreements concluded in the summer of 2014. There should be an inclusive government to be able to deal with the ongoing status of chaos in the Iraqi territories. There should also be a fertile environment aiming to provide coordinated and arranged systematic support for the Iraqi government." In a question about "Hezbollah terrorist organization," the US Defense Secretary said: Hezbollah is one of the examples of terrorist organizations.
