Brussels, Rajab 22, 1437, Apr 29, 2016, SPA -- The departure hall at the Brussels international airport will partially reopen on Sunday, nearly six weeks after it was damaged during terrorist attacks on the Belgian capital, dpa reported. More than 30 people died in the March 22 terrorist attacks, which saw suicide bombers blow themselves up in the airport departure hall and at the Maelbeek underground railway station in central Brussels. The IS extremist group claimed responsibility for the killings. Passengers will be able to access 111 check-in counters in the departure hall, while 36 check-in counters will remain operational in temporary structures that were put up after the attacks. The airport's passenger capacity is expected to reach full capacity by mid-June, Feist said. Access to the departure hall will be limited to passengers, and stepped-up security checks remain in place at the airport. It continues to recommend that passengers arrive three hours before their flights. -- SPA 02:22 LOCAL TIME 23:22 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
