Kathmandu, Jumada I 16, 1436, Mar 7, 2015, SPA -- Flights were to resume in Nepal's only international airport after a Turkish Airlines plane was removed from the runway, where it had been stranded for four days, the authorities said. According to dpa, a Nepal Airlines flight to New Delhi was scheduled to take off later in the evening, according to the Civil Aviation Authority. Indian Air Force personnel, Turkish engineers and Nepalese technicians worked together to remove the aircraft from the side of the runway, where it had crash-landed on Wednesday. The closure of Tribhuvan International Airport has led to the suspension of about 80 flights daily since the accident on Wednesday, stranding more than 24,000 passengers, authorities said. --SPA 20:17 LOCAL TIME 17:17 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
